While primarily dedicated to physical fitness, I chanced upon a Yoga session led by a teacher from the esteemed Sivananda lineage. This class offered a comprehensive experience, delving beyond mere physical postures to incorporate pranayama, kriyas, and mantras. The teacher’s unwavering dedication and the profound depth of the practice struck a chord within me, sparking a profound connection to Yoga. From that serendipitous encounter, around the age of 15 or 16, I embarked on a dedicated journey of practice, exploring diverse styles, traditions, and eventually pursuing advanced studies in Yoga philosophy.
